Amy Stone received her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 1996. In 2005, she receieved her Master of Science in nursing degree from the University of South Alabama. She then earned certification as a family nurse practitioner. She brought 10 years of hospital experience with her when joining Progressive Women’s Health. Her duties primarily consist of providing annual exams, acquiring medical histories, diagnosing and treating chronic and acute problems, ordering and assessing diagnostic tests, as well as writing prescriptions. She also provides urinary dynamic testing to help with the diagnosis of stress incontinence.

She also has additional training in aesthetics from the Aesthetic Enhancement Institute. She provides Botox, Restylane and Perlane injections to help decrease the signs of aging to the face.

Amy is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
